Musicians! Passage Player lets you learn from the songs and artists you love most. Split songs into passages you can easily practice against, analyze and study.
• Move playhead and breakpoints with ease
Ever tried isolating a passage of a song in other music apps? You stab the stop button, then slide back the tiny playhead with your big meaty finger to what you hope is the right location, then hit play again. Passage Player makes this easy.
• Play passages once, or loop them
Practice riffs and grooves over and over. You can also play the song straight through.
• Create multiple passages per song
You can set multiple passages and easily navigate between them. Save your work when youre finished.
• Control pitch and playback speed
If you want to play fast (and well), practice slowly. Passage Player lets you slow playback by up to 50%. You can also raise or lower pitch by up to 6 semitones.
• Record and compare
Record yourself, then listen back and forth with a passage in the song. Hear the difference between yourself and the professionals. Often humbling...but youll quickly realize the areas you need to improve.
NOTE: Apple Music (subscription service)
Passage Player currently cannot play songs “rented” through the Apple Music service. However, you can still use Passage Player with individual songs purchased outright from the Music Store, as long as they are downloaded from the cloud to your device.
And of course, you can use the app with other songs you own, such as those ripped from CDs. Again, the only caveat is that the audio files must be loaded onto your device. (Downloaded from the cloud, or uploaded via iTunes.)
Passage Player - a great way to improve your musicianship. Enjoy!
